When you’re stuck thinking about something too much rather than acting upon it.

I get it.

It happens to me.

The thought of the outcome holds back the process.

Silly.

I’m my own biggest road block.

What if this goes wrong?

What if they think that?

What if it doesn’t come out the way I wanted it to?

Non-sense.

All of this risk-aversion is itself the biggest risk.

You could do with a bit more stubbornness. If someone else was talking this kind of worry, you’d let them know about it. Why are you any different?

The cure?

Remind yourself, most people are generally better at doing than thinking.

PS Merry Christmas. I hope you enjoy plenty of food and plenty of family time. Enjoy yourself. Lots of love, Daniel.
