If it doesn’t fit in this bag, I don’t need it

I’ve got a bag I take with with me most places. It carries my laptop, has room for writing accessories (a notepad and pen) and a few changes of clothes.

That’s all I need. If I had to move overseas, I’d probably only take the bag.

I remember buying the bag and hesitating about it. It was expensive for me at the time. But it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

At the start it was only for carting my university equipment around.

Now it’s a reminder to keep things light.

If I’m going somewhere and I can’t fit something in the bag, I don’t need it.

Stories are better than things.
