When you think of starting something new, sharing your work, putting your art out there, it can be tempting to wait.
Wait until you know more.
Wait until you're not a student anymore.
Wait until your work is better than the rest (who decides this?/who are you comparing to?).
Wait until you've got more skill.
Wait until you're ready.
When will that be?
It's a trick question. Because if the answer is 'I'm ready now', you've waited too long. And because the real answer is, you'll never be ready.
It's counter-intuitive but the best time to start is when you're unsure. When the path ahead isn't clear. Remind yourself, a known future is already the past.
Sometimes you have to let out a 'what the hell' and start marching towards the unknown horizon.
